Amateur Radio License examination sessions are held each second Sunday, at 2:00 pm at the Tyler Red Cross
The exam cost is $14 – Cash only. Exams are open to anyone who wishes to take one, you do not have to be a club member

If you are studying to upgrade or for your first license and are struggling with a part of the theory, contact us for support to get you past the hurdle.
The FCC now requires that individuals obtain an FRN (FCC Registration number) before coming to the test session.

After you receive your FRN you are all set for testing. as previously mentioned, the test sessions on are the second Sunday of each month (excluding holidays) at the Shiloh Road Church of Christ in Tyler.
**IMPORTANT**
You will be asked four questions below on the day before your exam.
Questions:
- Do you currently have a cough, fever, or any type of respiratory illness?
- Have you or anyone in your household been in close contact with anyone who has been confirmed as having COVID-19?
- Are you or anyone in your household a healthcare worker caring for a confirmed COVID-19 patient?
- Do you have a mask and will wear it while in the Red Cross building?
At this time the Red Cross administration is requiring that we DO NOT accept walk-ins. So, email the club from the link at the top of the page. Get your FRN. Bring $14.00 to the exam session and “Let’s do it.”
